But when things turn unplanned, and you need to have conversations, as an example,

maybe before the meeting and people want to have some small talk with you,

or perhaps after the meeting, whether it’s in question and answer,

or maybe just some type of general, unplanned casual conversation after the meeting.

Well, why does that happen?

It’s not because your English isn’t good enough.

What am I going to say?

What am I going to …?

Turn that around.

And instead focus on your listening skills, and really listen to the other person.

And when you really listen to the other person, you are able then to ask questions about something they said.

Genuinely listen to them.

And you will be able to have these conversations with ease. They really work out nicely.

Listen to them and ask them questions based on whatever they said.

This will really help you build relationships with everybody and it just makes your unplanned conversations, much more natural and simple to do.

So simply by focusing on a skill, in this case listening, you able to have these unplanned conversations with confidence.

Give it a try, tell me how it goes for you.

I’d love to hear from you. Have a great day.
